Female-Female sex
*note that when I refer to women/females/girls in this passage I am referring to female-bodied individuals
HIv, STDs, and stis in ff sex
So in a female-female sex (FF sex) there are are a few things that you have to worry about and go over that are different than with male-female sex. Now in is a low chance of HIV infection in FF sex, but there are still chances of an infection. The female-bodied person you may be engaging in sexual activities with may have had unsafe sex with a man, injected drugs and shared needles possibly with an HIV-positive user, or may have been exposed to the HIV virus in other ways. Even if they claim they have not done any of these activities you never know. The only certain way to know is through a blood test. Passing HIV through FF sex has a very low chance of occuring, but it is not impossible. HIV is in blood, breast milk, vaginal fluid, and blood of the infected individual and if any of these enter your body you are at a risk for infection. Also on top of HIV there are other STDs and STIs to be concerned about such as bacterial vaginosis (BV), thrush, genital warts, herpes, chlamydia, and many other potential threats.
Sex safety
Be sure to cover all the safety stuff as well so that your fun time doesn't go wrong. Are you planning on using any barriers (condoms, dental dams, ect.) and if so who is responisble for purchasing them? If you all are thinking about experimenting with BDSM do you know the safe way to do it? This includes safety words, being prepared with everything, knowing what is and isn't groovy, how to be safe with everything, and all this stuff you all should research before going into it. Is everyone involved tested for STDs and STIs? If one of you is HIV-positive how will that impact your sex? All of this should be addressed even if your partner isn't trans*.
Talking about everything before doing the do
I know talking is lame and you just want to get to it, but it can help tons. First it would be a good idea to sit down
