Who are you? WHAT'S YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH LGBT+ matters?
My identity isn't important nor should it be. This isn't about me and who I am, but about us as a community. I will tell you all my experience with the LGBT+ community. There are many friends that I have that are in the LGBT+ community and a few of my relatives are in it as well. I personally identify as a cisgendered female who is bisexal and biromantic. I am only out to a few people though. I hope all of you can contribute to other aspects of our community that I cannot fit. I also have experience with homophobia of loved ones and internalized homophobia. This is all that I will tell about myself.
Will you answer private advice questions?
Yes, you can reach me here.
Do you take requests on what to post?
Are people that are not lgbt+ welcome here?
Yes absolutely! This is an LGBT+ community though and if a conversation is directly calling out members of the LGBT+ community I would love it if users that do not fall in that category could step aside. This isn't me being discriminatory against people who aren't LGTB+, but people in this community normally don't get a voice or a place to talk about this area of our life without judgement and people that aren't LGBT+ do. This is a place for the LGBT+ people to have a voice in our community.
why don't you use any other forms of social media?
I have known from the moment I decided to create this website that I wanted to recruit people and not have this community open on places like Instagram or Facebook. Places like those tend to draw out people that aren't accepting and I can fight back against idiots like those, but for once we shouldn't have to defend ourselves against those idiots and we should just have a safe place to talk without judgement.
